REFUND POLICY

Our approach to refunds for advisory services and courses, consistent with the Australian Consumer Law.

This Refund Policy applies to advisory services and courses provided by Colab (ABN 38 650 520 219) and is consistent with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. We are committed to fair, transparent, and straightforward handling of all refund requests.

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or remedy if a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes those rights.

Consumer guarantees for services include that the services will be provided with due care and skill, will be fit for the purpose you have made known to us, and will be delivered within a reasonable time where no time is specified.

2. Advisory Services — Monthly Engagements

2.1 Cancellation

Advisory engagement terms, including minimum commitment periods and cancellation notice requirements, are set out in your engagement agreement. In general:

A minimum engagement period applies as specified in your agreement (typically three months)
Cancellation outside the minimum period requires written notice as specified in your agreement (typically 30 days)
Fees paid for the current billing period in which notice is given are non-refundable unless the service has not yet commenced

2.2 Refunds for Unsatisfactory Service

If you believe a service has not been delivered with due care and skill or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us at admin@colabconsultant.com within 14 days of the relevant service delivery. We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer to:

Re-deliver the affected service at no additional cost, or
Provide a partial or full refund of fees paid for the period in question

We will respond to all refund requests within 10 business days.

3. Online Courses

3.1 Change of Mind

Because digital course content is made available to you immediately upon purchase, we are generally unable to offer refunds for change of mind once a course has been accessed. This is consistent with the Australian Consumer Law position on digital products.

3.2 Technical Issues

If you are unable to access course content due to a technical issue on our platform, please contact us at admin@colabconsultant.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue promptly. If we are unable to do so within a reasonable time, we will offer a full refund.

3.3 Misrepresentation

If the course content materially differs from what was represented at the time of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. Please contact us within 14 days of purchase.

4. Strategy Calls

Complimentary strategy calls may be cancelled or rescheduled at any time without penalty. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice where possible as a courtesy.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email admin@colabconsultant.com with:

Your name and the email address used at the time of purchase or engagement
A description of the service or course concerned
The reason for your refund request
Any supporting information

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days.

6. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method where possible, within 7 business days of approval. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may seek assistance from:
